Private Yoga

60 MIN SESSION

I teach all levels from beginner to advanced, young adults to seniors, pre-natal and post-natal.

First we will address your personal goals and interests. You may be looking to deepen your practice, relieve stress, add to your exercise regimen, or heal an injury. As a private student, you can expect a fresh, fun, and challenging custom sequence that matches your energy and experience level.

Semi- Private Yoga

60 MINUTES

Strengthen your body, your mind, AND your bond. Bring a loved one and enjoy personalized flows and breathwork designed just for you two (or three, or four...).

Private Pilates Mat

60 MINUTES

Pilates is a method of exercise that targets the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine to lengthen, strengthen, tone your body and help keep your body aligned and injury free. Pilates can be done by anyone at any fitness level.

First we will address your personal goals and needs. You may be looking to add more challenge to your exercise regimen, heal an injury, fix your posture, or develop better balance and coordination.

Private Pilates Apparatus

60 MINUTES

Pilates Apparatus sessions build on the same movement principles as pilates mat - with more equipment (known as “The Apparatus”) involved. This may include the Pilates Reformer, Tower, Chair, Barrel, and other props. A wide variety of exercises are done on the reformer to promote length, strength, flexibility, and balance.

Working against resistance is essential to Pilates exercises, which are designed to train the body’s “powerhouse” — the abdomen, lower back, hips, and buttocks. Using the Apparatus rather than only a mat, you have more options to accomplish finding resistance using springs, weights, and pulleys.

Semi- Private Pilates (Mat or Apparatus)

60 MINUTES

Strengthen your body AND do it with a friend. Personalized assistance, adjustments, and attention is vital in pilates to ensure you are getting the most out of your workout; Therefore, I will not accept groups larger than two people. It is also recommended that you and your workout partner are of similar experience and skill level so you can get the most out of the experience.

Meditation , Pranayama, or Yoga Nidra

30 OR 45 MINUTES

Whether you are feeling stressed or anxious, struggling with some strong emotions in your life currently, need to unwind, or are simply trying to incorporate more mindfulness in your life, meditation may help.

The way I understand it, Meditation is the understanding that you are not your mind. You are that which experiences your mind thinking. My mindfulness meditation practice is influenced by Buddhism, and aims to help you get grounded in the moment and draw awareness to everything that you sense or perceive as it is and as it happens. Types of meditation I teach are Mindfulness with a focus on the breath, Loving Kindness with a focus on your tender heart, and Yoga Nidra (body scan- helpful for de-stressing and sleeping well). These practices often pair very well with Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques).

Let’s face it, most office jobs require employees to sit in a chair behind a computer screen for most of the day. Research indicates that prolonged sitting may be linked to a number of health concerns including chronic health problems (obesity, heart disease, diabetes), chronic pain due to poor posture (neck pain, back pain, wrist pain), less range of motion and flexibility, weak and underused muscles (typically back, neck, hamstrings, abdominals, and glutes), tight and short muscles (typically hip flexors, hips), degeneration of joints, and poor circulation.

My job is to help your employees offset all those hours of sitting. In addition to the positive physical aspects, attendees of my classes have reported feeling decreased stress, improved mental clarity and focus, increased productivity, and morale boost
